Frequently Asked Questions

Radical Self Re-Calibration is a process of calibrating and re-calibrating one’s internal awareness to be aligned with the conscious presence within oneself every single present moment as the moment appears and disappears.

Industrial equipment, machinery and instruments are calibrated every day or several times a day for optimum intended use.

The Human Be-ing is an instrument of the Absolute or Pure Source Consciousness.

To experience the conscious presence within, one must Re-Calibrate their own system/being EVERY SINGLE PRESENT MOMENT if one wants to feel fulfilled in their day to day life.

A question for you to reflect on: What is the intended use of your life? Why are you here? If you know, you know. If you don't, it is just a matter of "re-calibrating" your being to be aligned with the presence within you.

There won’t be fireworks, bells and whistles when the “presence” is felt and reconnected with since it was already there inside you when you were born.

When the ego starts developing, depending on how the being was conditioned and socialized in childhood and the formative years, the presence is either nurtured or diminished.

In our current world culture, this conscious presence is in the background, continuing to impulse the system in subtle ways but because of the loud company of the ego and identification with the ego and egoic thoughts (due to old pains, memories, trauma and emotions), the presence is hardly felt by most people.

Re-establishing this lost connection with the conscious presence within is the path of Self-Realization.

The path of Self-Realization is a continuous and deepening process. It does not end with the Realization.  A common trajectory may involve the dance of two stages in a non-linear fashion:

  • Ego-Awareness - This involves learning more about one's conditioned self called the ego. This stage is dual in nature and explores the duality of one’s being - the light and the shadow, the good and the bad, the high and the low etc. Exploring the workings of one's own ego through psychological reflections and psycho-spiritual reflections fall under this category. When one becomes aware of their own ego, their own mind and their own body, it paves the path to go deeper.

  • Self-Realization - This is the stage where one realizes that there is a conscious presence within them that is beyond the mind and the body. This presence is non-dual, timeless, spacious and expansive in nature. It can be felt and perceived only in the present moment. The eternal nature of this "SELF" is the common element in all beings.

All it requires is one to surrender to the PRESENT MOMENT as it appears - no identification with the mind and no identification with the narratives or the emotions.

You are not your thoughts, your stories or your emotions. So in the moment of surrender, you simply stay present with the physical sensations of the body and allow the thoughts to fly past you - without engaging with them.

When the mind is no longer engaged with and when the thoughts can no longer get your attention, the living presence can be felt and perceived. This presence deepens over time. This is a conscious presence - this is the truth of who you are. It is non-dual in nature.

In this moment of conscious presence, inspiration to act arises. This is called conscious action.

In the beginning, it may be perceived as a humbling and testing process that requires one to have a deep desire to be aligned with the highest truth within and to surrender from a place of trust, faith and love.

The process of surrender that is being spoken about here is not about resigning to one’s fate or accepting defeat. Rather, it is the process of giving up resistance to FEEL, which is an integral part of operating as an embodied human BE-ing.

This surrender needs to happen on the physical, mental, emotional, energetic and conceptual levels.

The practical steps of surrendering are simple. It is to observe if one is holding on to resistance in any of the body parts and to release the resistance slowly, dropping into the body - feeling deeper and deeper into the body.

In the beginning, it may help to try this lying down since the body naturally relaxes in "shavasana".

Overtime, when surrender begins to feel like second-nature, the quality of surrender might feel more like reverence, love and deep trust.

Inspiration to act that arises from being in alignment with the conscious presence within oneself is called conscious action. This operates by impulsing on the level of the Higher Mind or Intuition.

Intuition can be felt every single present moment if one remembers to tune into their inner-being in the initial stages till the ego is reduced in its energetic presence. Over a period of time, intuitive action becomes second-nature.

It also becomes clear if the impulse to act is arising from the ego or if the inspiration to act is arising from being in alignment with one’s true nature.

In the present moment, when the system or being is re-calibrated to be aligned with conscious awareness, actions taken from this state propel one towards conscious evolution.

Over a period of adopting this practice, one can start to identify if the action that is arising in the present moment is a result of conscious alignment with the presence within or if it is a result of being identified with the conditioned-self (ego) that operates on the mental matrix system (maya).

Actions arising from the ego give momentary satisfaction. They also result in de-volution.

Yes, here are some tips to help discern if your impulse to act is coming from the ego (conditioned-self) or your intuition (true-self):

  • Timing: Intuition is a simple, natural knowing that arises quickly and quietly with a feeling of “this feels right to do”. Ego-driven action is loud, chaotic and repetitive with a sense of urgency.
  • Emotion: Intuition does not try to convince you to act - it just is. Intuition is not driven by fear or excitement. Ego driven action is rooted in desire or anxiety.
  • Body sensations: The body feels relaxed, open and grounded when intuition impulses one to act. Ego-driven action impulses the body to tighten and brings about a feeling of restlessness or agitation. Trust your body and not your thoughts.
  • Clarity: Intuitive action does not need a long explanation. The intuitive impulse is a simple and clean signal. Ego-driven action builds arguments and tries to justify itself endlessly.
  • After-effect: When it comes to intuitive action, even if the outcome is uncertain, you feel ‘settled’ after making a decision. Ego-driven action leads to mental fatigue and doubt, resulting in second-guessing decisions.

When one is completely alert and present in conscious awareness throughout the day, the body is the first to feel the impulse of the deep presence within. This impulses one to take conscious action.

Upon feeling the impulse of this presence, the intellectual mind may immediately start providing input based on conditioning. The intellectual mind provides its strategies, plans and conclusions. This can be helpful only if it is related to logistics, daily operations and time-keeping.

However, the ego-ic mind may try to get involved and it starts to attract thoughts, thoughtforms, criticism, doubt, old emotions and narratives in relation to this inspiration to act.

Depending on how long one dwells in the lower ego-ic mind, the inspiration to act and follow the guidance of the conscious presence may come to fruition or it may fade.

Since the body’s first impulse is more reliable than the narratives of the mind, one can remember to trust the cues of the body over the narrations of the mind.

When one starts to engage in conscious action, the body feels relaxed and grounded. Mind chatter ceases. Trusting the body over the mind = matter over mind.
